"Doin What it Takes to Keep you Safe"

Since 1949 the Darlington Volunteer Fire Company has provided the necessary fire protection EMS services and rescue services to the town of Darlington and surrounding communities. The Darlington Volunteer Fire Company operates 3 engines 2 Medic units 2 Rescue boats 1 air cascade unit 1 brush truck 1 utility vehicle and 4 chiefs vehicles. We serve the community out of two firehouses in the Darlington/Dublin area. House 1 is located at 2600 Castleton Road in Darlington Maryland, and House 2 is located at 1600 Whiteford Road in the town of Dublin Maryland. The Darlington Volunteer Fire Company provides mutual aid to Cecil County in Maryland as well as York and Lancaster Counties in Pennslyvania in addition to the multiple fire companies in Harford County. In addition to fire services the Darlington Volunteer Fire Company has recently joined with the Harford County TRT (Technical Rescue Team) and the Susquehanna Hose Company in adding a Swiftwater team to provide faster response times into the northern area of Harford County. Since the team has been created it has been alerted to respond to assist companies in Harford county as far away as Joppa Magnolia and as close as Level and our own district. Our team utilizes our boat along with the TRT boat in making rescues. In 2007 and into 2008 we will be replacing our outdated (now sold) rescue truck with a 1000 gallon rescue pumper, and we will also be replacing our outdated Dublin Station.
